We offer official AKC Testing for CGC, CGCA, CGCU, and more.
These are certification tests-not training courses.
Whether your dog was trained through Kynovia K9, another trainer, or through your own dedication and practice, the goal remains the same: demonstrating the skills required to earn an AKC Title.

AKC CERTIFICATIONS WE OFFFER
What Is Urban CGC? Urban CGC evaluates a dog's ability to remain calm, focused, and under control in busy urban environments. Testing takes place in real-world locations with distractions such as crowds, traffic, noises, and public buildings. Test Requirements Examples include: ✓ Entering and exiting buildings politely ✓ Walking through busy sidewalks ✓ Remaining calm around city distractions ✓ Crossing streets under control ✓ Ignoring food and litter ✓ Greeting people appropriately ✓ Walking through public buildings ✓ Maintaining focus despite environmental challenges Who Is This For? Dogs that regularly accompany their owners in public Advanced obedience dogs Therapy dog candidates Dogs with strong CGC foundations Before You Book Dogs should be comfortable in busy public environments and capable of performing all required skills despite real-world distractions.
What Is the CGC? The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is the foundation certification recognizing dogs that demonstrate good manners and responsible behavior in everyday situations. Test Requirements Your dog will be evaluated on 10 skills: ✓ Accepting a friendly stranger ✓ Sitting politely for petting ✓ Appearance and grooming ✓ Walking on a loose leash ✓ Walking through a crowd ✓ Sit, down, and stay ✓ Coming when called ✓ Appropriate reaction to another dog ✓ Appropriate reaction to distractions ✓ Supervised separation Who Is This For? What Is Community Canine? AKC Community Canine (CGCA) is the advanced level of the Canine Good Citizen program. Dogs are tested in public settings with real-world distractions and expectations. Test Requirements Examples include: ✓ Walking politely through public spaces ✓ Waiting calmly around distractions ✓ Ignoring food and environmental distractions ✓ Demonstrating longer stays ✓ Reliable recalls ✓ Controlled behavior around people and dogs ✓ Appropriate behavior while the handler is occupied ✓ Real-world manners in community environments Who Is This For? Dogs that have already earned CGC Therapy dog candidates Service dog prospects Owners seeking advanced public manners Before You Book Dogs should already possess strong CGC-level skills and be comfortable working in public environments.
