Our Training Philosophy

2-Week Obedience Tune-Up & Real-World Practice
This program is perfect for dogs who have already gone through a foundational obedience program (with Kynovia or elsewhere) and need to refocus, refresh, or reinforce their skills in real-life settings.
Many dogs go through phases where behaviors begin to slip — recall isn’t as snappy, leash manners get sloppy, or distractions become too exciting. Whether it’s due to lifestyle changes, owner consistency, or natural behavioral shifts, this short-term intensive helps tighten things back up and get your dog back on track.
What This Program Covers
During your dog’s stay, we’ll work daily on reinforcing essential obedience commands, polishing their responses, and practicing in varied real-world environments. This isn’t about teaching from scratch — it’s about reliability, confidence, and practical application.
Core Skills We Reinforce:
-
Sit and Down with duration and distraction
-
Place command (stay calmly on bed or mat)
-
Recall (come when called)
-
Loose leash walking (“By Me”) in busy areas
-
Threshold manners (waiting at doors, gates, crates)
-
Leave it / drop it
-
Impulse control
Real-World Practice Includes:
-
Field trips to local parks, walking trails, and pet-friendly stores
-
Training around other people, dogs, noises, traffic, and distractions
-
Daily structured routines to build discipline and focus
-
Exposure to car rides, crate time, handling, and unfamiliar surfaces
This training helps ensure your dog’s skills work outside the backyard — in the places you actually live your life.
